Prospective Parents September 2023
This year we are planning to hold open morning events for our prospective parents, but places will be limited on each morning to keep people a safe as possible. The dates for our Open Mornings are:
-
Tuesday 8th November @ 10:30 am
-
Friday 18th November @ 10:30 am
If you would like to attend one of these events please call the school office who will be able to book you a place on your preferred date.
In the meantime do please take a look at the video we had filmed last year when we are unable to have an open morning to get a flavour of our school. This was all filmed in one morning and shows a typical day at our school, because we know this is what you want to see. We hope that you like what you see, but if you do have any questions do please give us a call or send us an e-mail. We are always happy to help – remember that no question is silly.
Welcome to our School Video
New Parents/Carers
Starting a new school can be an exciting and daunting time for both parents and children. We hope that the information on our website will help you to get all the information you need to help you and your child start at our school. A good place to start is by reading our Parent/Carer Handbook which contains the most important information you need as your child starts school. The calendar gives you all our upcoming dates and the latest newsletters can be found in the Noticeboard tab. In addition to this information about your child’s class can be found on the Class Pages.
Here is a video introducing you to our Reception Class
One of the first things that you need to do when your child starts school is to arrive at school safely and know how to collect your child at the end of the day. Brief guidance is available in the Parent/Carer Handbook, but full details on dropping your child at school in the morning and collecting them at the end of the day is available In our Dropping and Collecting Children at School Policy, which can be downloaded from the documents section opposite.
Please note, that as at all schools parking can be a challenge. The Parking Map in the documents section shows where parents and carers are asked not to park because it is in breach of the Highway Code and puts the children at risk as they are walking into and out of school at the start and end of the day.
If you cannot find what you are looking for, or have a question do please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help.
